Job Title:Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering Lead

Location: Chocolate Bayou Works Alvin TX

Duration:12 months

Schedule:9/80


Role Overview:

The Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Engineering Lead will oversee the E&I design ensuring it meets business objectives and industry standards throughout all project phases. This includes defining scope managing quality assurance and collaborating with various engineering disciplines. The role reports to the Engineering Manager.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead scope definition and quality assurance for E&I components.
  • Collaborate in project phases (Opportunity Evaluation Selection FEL 3 EPC and StartUp).
  • Develop engineering plans risk assessments and project specifications.
  • Provide guidance on vendor selection project changes and commissioning efforts.
  • Oversee compliance with industry standards and ensure documentation is delivered per project requirements.


Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelors in electrical engineering.
  • 10 years in petrochemical/refining with E&I expertise.
  • Proficient in NEC ANSI/IEEE ISA codes and industry standards.
  • Skilled in using tools like SKM PowerTools or ETAP for load flow shortcircuit protection etc.
  • Experience in solar farm design power distribution and control systems (Honeywell Fisher etc..
  • TWIC Card required.
