Job Description
- Must be a US citizen or nonUS citizen able to work in the United States.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or G.E.D. (or obtain it within a reasonable period.
- Candidates in this position may be required to pass a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws regulations or policies:
- Record of criminal activity and criminal history using a namedbased record check before employment is offered or before job duties are assigned that might expose them to KCJISsensitive information.
- Record of criminal activity and criminal history using a fingerprintbased check within 30 days after initial employment or assignment and before unconditional employment is offered.
- Responsible for obtaining and maintaining all certification requirements relative to the position.
- Possession of a valid Kansas drivers license and a satisfactory driving record.
- Complete required annual training by the state of Kansas.
- Qualify with handguns and rifles.
