The Team
At Victoria Law Courts we are a dedicated and collaborative team responsible for managing both Provincial and Supreme Court matters in British Columbia. Our team of just over 50 people including Court/Registry Clerks Registry Technicians Justices of the Peace Deputy District Registrars Supervisors and Managers plays a critical role in ensuring access to justice through a strong partnership with the judiciary and other justice partners. We value teamwork diversity and the unique contributions of each member in supporting a fair and effective court system for the community.
The Role
The Registry technician provides specialized front line service to the Criminal Registry. They are responsible for checking documents for accuracy reading accused persons into their orders signing and distributing orders to justice partners and processing incoming release documents to ensure system integrity is maintained. They provide critical support to the Justices of the Peace enabling efficient processing.
