Catalents Kansas City facility is home to our Oral & Specialty Drug Delivery Biologics Analytical Services and Clinical Supply Services businesses. The site provides a range of integrated services for oral solid dosage forms from formulation development and analytical testing to clinical and commercialscale manufacture. The Kansas City facility is a CenterofExcellence for our Biologics Analytical Services business. Our talented team has over 25 years of experience providing analytical services for standalone and integrated biologics projects.

Catalent Pharma Solutions in Kansas City MO is hiring a Manager Project Management role. The Manager Project Management Will own and lead in the management and successful delivery of assigned Projects and will provide out of office cover as required for other members of the PM team including PM Director. Will have line management responsibilities and act as a Senior Member of the site and global CSE management teams. Will have responsibility for any type of project or client type. Will be the Catalent Advocate and the Client Advocate. Will be responsible for communicating via teleconference as well as email and other forms of client communication. Will promote continuous improvement in all aspects of the job for self and team. Will focus on professionalism and Customer Service Excellence when working with all internal and external clients and ensure team follow same approach. Will display an exceptionally high degree of independent judgment and analyses to complete the responsibilities of this position. Will take a leading role in the development of strategic plans for assigned function and site.

This is a fulltime role position: Monday Friday 1st shift. Salary Onsite

The Role

• Under own direction manage the department team and ensure the coordination and management of projects from award stage to completion for all aspects and elements of a project ensuring correct set up planning monitoring and are effectively managed and executed on time. For any own assigned projects lead and manage client meetings/teleconferences/client visits and Audits to understand full scope requirements ensuring minutes and actions are taken and all required project documentation is generated by self or the project coordinator team
• Will recruit manage performance set expectations develop and coach direct reports and other members of the site team. Promote the use of and ensure compliance by the PM team to ensure clients are set up in the fusion suite as required and ongoing support for client use and password management is provided
• Ensure Team supports and delivers supply forecasts and any relevant information to drive S&OP and client management. Ensure collection of KPI data and appropriate analysis of data and trends is completed communicated to appropriate teams and any correction plans or process improvement initiatives are identified and implemented
• Ensure all members of the team are trained appropriately for their roles and developed in line with organization directives and processes. Will mentor develop and support members of the PM function and other functions both on site and globally as required
• Accountable for ensuring the financial elements of all projects including contract review financial milestone management budget tracking and oversight are adhered to and will support invoice query resolution and aged debt activities.
• Deputize for any member of the team and as required the CSE and site management teams. Will ensure regular review and improvement of Standing Operating Procedures relating to own areas of responsibility
• Promote the use of and ensure compliance by the PM team in all aspect of Workfront. Will lead and execute continuous improvement initiatives within the department and site
• All other duties as assigned;

The Candidate

• Required a bachelors degree with five years of experience in appropriate businessrelated area and One years of prior supervisory or relevant management experience.
• Prior experience reporting KPIs highly desired
• Professional Project Management Qualification preferred
• Demonstrated ability to motivate and lead others while working alongside them to complete tasks to reach organizational goals highly desired
• Demonstrable leadership experience at Catalent (including but not limited to participation in Catalentsponsored leadership programs such as NGGL GOLD LEAD Now GM Excellence and GROW) may be considered in place of external experience
• Required Leadership skills include excellent interpersonal and communication skills with all levels of stakeholders the strong ability to lead mentor train motivate direct and empower a team influence and lead change contribute strategic analytical insight for problem solving and partner with cross functional teams to identify gaps develop and implementation of continuous improvement ideas
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook Word Excel Internet Explorer required
• Ability to work well with people of diverse cultures preferred
• Individual may be required to sit stand walk regularly and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
