Job Description
- Developing and implementing sourcing strategies for indirect goods and services
- Conducting market research and benchmarking to identify potential suppliers and costsaving opportunities.
- Developing Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Request for Quotations (RFQs
- Conduct cost analysis and setting benchmarks for improvement
- Negotiating contracts and ensuring compliance with terms and conditions
- Facilitating and leading sourcing projects
- Monitoring supplier performance and addressing any issue
- Identifying and implementing costsaving initiatives
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
- Identifying and mitigating potential risks associated with procurement
- Working with internal stakeholders to ensure that all procurement activities are conducted ethically and legally
- Ensuring that all purchases are within budget and comply with company policies
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to streamline procurement activities
- Using technology to automate procurement processes and improve efficiency
Qualifications :
- Degree in any discipline
- MBA an added advantage
- Minimum 5 years working experience in indirect procurement
- Strong organization and analytical skills and make datadriven decision
- Project management skill
- Problem solving skill
- Knowledge of ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics AX SAP etc)
- Able to work independently and as a team
- Able to travel when required
- Strong communication skill preferably fluent in spoken and written English Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Strategic thinking ability
- High integrity
