Were seeking a Head of Finance to lead financial operations and ensure compliance across APRA prudential regulation tax and international accounting standards within our dynamic Australian branch.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a finance professional with strong insurance experience a depth of regulatory knowledge and a desire to make a strategic impact within a global business framework.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead all APRA prudential regulatory reporting and ensure compliance with Australian financial services regulations
Oversee IFRS 17 and IFRS 16 journal entries reconciliations and system integrations
Manage tax obligations including provision returns and audits (Income Tax CbC DTA etc.
Partner with actuaries auditors and consultants to deliver accurate timely statutory reports
Review financial statements manage treasury and support business planning
Provide leadership and oversight to a collaborative finance team
Contribute to ongoing process optimisation and ERP (Workday) system enhancements
What Were Looking For:
CA/CPA qualified with a degree in Finance or Accounting
Minimum 5 years experience in financial services or insurance sector
Solid experience in AUSGAAP USGAAP and IFRS 17 (AASB 17
Proven track record in tax reporting and liaising with regulatory bodies
Strong Excel skills and experience with Workday (bonus)
Exceptional communication leadership and stakeholder engagement abilities
