Corporate Lawyer
Location: Cardiff
Salary: per annum (DOE)
We are seeking a Corporate Associate to join our clients awardwinning and marketleading Corporate Team in Cardiff. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and ambitious solicitor to work on complex highvalue transactions for a diverse range of clients including startups highgrowth companies and large corporations.
As part of their dynamic corporate practice you will advise clients on mergers and acquisitions joint ventures private equity and venture capital investments management buyouts and buyins business transfers and corporate restructuring. You will play a key role in driving market share and brand presence managing a varied caseload and contributing to the continued success of this firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on a broad range of corporate transactions ensuring highquality legal and commercial advice.
- Conduct and manage due diligence and disclosure processes working closely with clients to achieve their business objectives.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships acting as a trusted adviser on all aspects of company law.
- Keep up to date with key legal and business developments to provide strategic advice to clients.
- Play an active role in business development supporting initiatives that drive growth and expand the firms client base.
- Collaborate with peers and colleagues across departments to deliver seamless and commercially focused legal solutions.
About You
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with a minimum of 3 years PQE in corporate law.
- Experience gained within a City or national law firm in a Corporate team.
- Strong technical skills in handling corporate finance M&A joint ventures and restructuring transactions.
- Commercially astute with the ability to provide pragmatic and businessfocused legal advice.
- A strong communicator able to explain complex legal matters clearly to clients and stakeholders.
- A proactive selfmotivated team player with a can do attitude and the ability to work under pressure.
- Passionate about business development with a keen interest in expanding client relationships.
- Collaborative supportive and entrepreneurial in approach with a commitment to excellence and innovation.
