Job Description

We are seeking an experienced General Ledger Team Lead to join the team during an exciting period of transformation.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Financial Oversight: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure financial accuracy and integrity while identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization
Leadership in MonthEnd and YearEnd Closing: Drive the closing processes preparing
journal entries financial statements and reconciliations efficiently
Advanced Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports tailored for internal and external stakeholders ensuring strict compliance with accounting standards and regulations
Critical Variance Analysis: Perform indepth financial analysis investigate variances and provide strategic insights to senior management
Process Ownership & Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting and accounting operations
Audit & Compliance Leadership: Collaborate with auditors and ensure full readiness for financial audits providing necessary documentation and strategic insights
CrossFunctional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to ensure financial alignment with business objectives and support decisionmaking
Policy & Regulation Adherence: Ensure full compliance with company policies accounting principles and relevant financial regulations


What Were Looking For:
A bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field (CPA certification is a plus)
5 years of experience in a senior accounting role preferably within a company undergoing transformation or rapid growth
Experience in coordinating teams
Strong knowledge of GAAP German HGB and experience with SAP and Microsoft Excel
A selfstarter mindset with the ability to learn independently take ownership of projects and bring innovative solutions to the table
Excellent analytical skills attention to detail and the ability to interpret financial data in a meaningful way
Strong time management organizational skills and the ability to thrive under pressure and tight deadlines
Effective communication skills with the ability to present financial insights to senior
management and influence decisionmaking
