Job Description:
Were seeking a skilled Social Media Strategist with a passion for social media brand storytelling and usergenerated content with specific experience in driving ecommerce growth. This role involves developing highimpact strategies across social platforms that resonate with online consumers and maximize engagement through UGC influencer partnerships and organic content.
Candidates with at least 45 years of experience in a digital marketing agency are preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Social Media Strategies for Ecommerce Growth:
- Create and implement social media strategies that drive traffic sales and customer loyalty for ecommerce brands.
- Focus on tactics that increase visibility and engagement using a combination of organic and paid social media techniques.
- Drive UGC and Community Engagement:
- Encourage and curate usergenerated content that highlights product use and builds brand authenticity.
- Foster a community of brand advocates by engaging with followers facilitating discussions and resharing UGC on brand channels.
- Content Strategy and Planning:
- Collaborate with content creators designers and photographers to produce visually appealing onbrand content (stories reels posts) that drives ecommerce engagement.
- Manage content calendars to ensure a steady stream of engaging trendaligned content that resonates with the target audience.
- Influencer Partnerships and Brand Collaborations:
- Identify engage and manage relationships with influencers and microinfluencers to amplify reach and drive product awareness.
- Develop collaborative campaigns that feature UGC and resonate with ecommerce consumers encouraging sharing and wordofmouth growth.
- Analytics and Performance Tracking:
- Utilize analytics tools to track and report on social media performance providing insights on engagement reach conversion and UGC impact.
- Optimize social media strategies based on performance data with a focus on maximizing ROI and growth for ecommerce brands.
- Trend Spotting and Competitive Analysis:
- Stay updated on industry trends new social media features and competitor strategies within the ecommerce and DTC space.
- Integrate insights into the strategy to keep the brands social media presence fresh relevant and impactful.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Maximum of 10 years in social media strategy with proven success in the ecommerce sector ideally within a digital marketing agency or similar setting.
- Platform Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of key social media platforms (Instagram TikTok Pinterest etc. and tools like Meta Business Suite analytics software and scheduling tools.
- Creative Eye and Brand Storytelling Skills: Ability to craft engaging onbrand content that inspires UGC and fosters brand loyalty.
- DataDriven Mindset: Strong analytical skills with experience in using data to optimize strategies and report on social media performance.
- Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication skills with experience working crossfunctionally to execute cohesive social strategies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing UGC and influencer marketing programs for ecommerce brands.
- Background in scaling B2C brands through social media and UGC initiatives.
- Familiarity with digital marketing practices like SEO email marketing and paid media for ecommerce growth.
