What this role is:
The Vice President of Operations at Stellar MLS is a key executive leader responsible for overseeing and optimizing the companys operational functions. This role ensures efficient across departments aligns systems and processes with strategic goals and drives crossfunctional collaboration to improve performance and customer satisfaction.
Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer the VP of Operations brings strong systems thinking leadership and change management capabilities to support Stellar MLSs ongoing success and evolution.
What you will do:
This is a salary exempt fulltime role. Your essential duties and responsibilities will consist of:
- Lead and manage daily operations across the Project Customer Relations and Training departments.
- Champion process improvement and organizational efficiency initiatives.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to implement strategic initiatives modernization efforts and operational scaling strategies.
- Oversee vendor and technology partner relationships across all operational domains (e.g. Salesforce MLS Database Ancillary Services etc..
- Ensure organizational readiness for new product and platform rollouts including staff training and adoption plans.
- Develop manage and monitor operational KPIs and performance dashboards and assist teams with developing smart goals.
- Ensure compliance of companywide operational policies SOPs and best practices.
- Lead contingency planning risk mitigation and crisis response for operational areas.
- Provide leadership through regulatory changes including NAR policy updates and evolving market models.
- Support legal compliance and technical teams to ensure operations meet contractual and industry standards.
- Liaise with legal counsel as needed (contract management rules and regulation updates etc..
- Ensure compliance with all relevant local state and federal laws and regulations as well as industryspecific guidelines including those issued by the National Association of Realtors (NAR).
- Enhance member and customer satisfaction by refining service delivery operational workflows and customer support systems; implement mechanisms for incorporating customer feedback into operational improvements.
- Lead the development and monitoring of department budgets and forecasts ensuring costeffective operations while identifying opportunities for cost savings.
- Develop and maintain business continuity and crisis management plans to protect the integrity and continuity of operations during disruptions.
- Represent Stellar MLS at industry conferences public events and with external stakeholders to strengthen partnerships and enhance organizational visibility.
- Be able to deliver messages to the entire staff and individual departments.
- Able to run staff/manager/board meetings when necessary.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
- Some weekend and afterhours work may be required.
- Travel will be required to attend necessary meetings.
- Able to run initiatives and projects from inception to completion for departments and sponsor projects.
- Timely and regular attendance is an essential function of the position; being physically present in the work environment is an essential job function.
- Crosstraining for other departmental functions is expected and required.
- Must be able to work in a hybrid work environment both in the office and remotely (in the state of Florida).

To succeed in this role the Vice President of Operations will need a particular skill set. For this position those include:

2. Essential Physical Skills

3. Education Certifications and Software Skills
- 5 years in senior operations roles; experience in technologyenabled or servicebased organizations preferred.
- MLS Protech or real estate industry experience is a strong plus.
- Demonstrated success in managing complex programs and leading multiteam efforts.
- Bachelors degree or related experience equivalent is preferred.
- Experience in enterprisewide technology implementations strongly preferred.
- Completion of CMLX 1 and 2 within the first two years.
