Job Description

As Checkout grows we are seeking a Senior Analyst Reconciliations to join our Product Control team within the Finance organization. This new role will support trading activity reconciliation to ensure timely and accurate balance sheet reporting.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to strengthening our Accounting operations improving the quality of balance sheet reporting and standardising and automating reconciliations.

How Youll Make an Impact:

  • Analyse and reconcile data from various systems to identify control gaps and reconciliation breaks.
  • Collaborate with Billing Revenue Product Control and other Finance teams to investigate discrepancies understand root causes and initiate corrective actions.
  • Perform Business as Usual (BAU) reconciliation processes and controls across Billing Revenue and Cost of Sales balance sheets.
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for reconciliations applying accounting knowledge to ensure balances are properly accounted for.
  • Continuously improve data integrity automation controls and operational and reporting efficiency.
  • Participate in project work and product development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth financial operations and compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifications :

What Were Looking For:

  • 2 years of accounting operations experience including accounting and PurchasetoPay (P2P) with balance sheet reconciliations in a highvolume transaction environment.
  • Bachelors Degree in Economics Accounting or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of Excel data modelling and ERP systems such as Workday Oracle or SAP
  • Experience with financial systems and ERP platforms (e.g. Workday NetSuite) is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets and complex financial reports.
  • Good communication skills in English both verbal and written.
  • Experience working in a dynamic and complex regulatory environment ideally within Payments/FinTech or Financial Services.
