Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join Bosch for a fulfilling internship opportunity! This internship will provide valuable handson experience in a corporate environment allowing you to contribute to ongoing projects while learning from experienced professional.
As an Intern Multimodal Sensing for Smart Home Applications you will support the following key tasks in collaboration with experience team members.
- Collaborate with product owners crossfunctional team members in conducting research and implementing machine learning models in the smart home living space in the food preparation and home wellbeing domains.
- Create smart home applications that leverage Natural Language Processing (NLP) and multimodal sensing technologies.
- Develop innovative solutions in combining analyse and interpret complex text audio and visual datasets in discrete and timeseries format to enhance user interactions and experiences.
- Handson in developing intuitive user interfaces integrating embedded sensor hardware and optimizing the system for seamless device communication network.
- Support team members and perform experimental design using customised apparatus.
Qualifications :
- Undergraduate or Postgraduate studies in Engineering Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP) frameworks (e.g. NLTK SpaCy or Hugging Face Transformers) computer science and data analysis. Experience with large language models both encoder and decoder typesm is a bonus but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with multimodal sensing technologies including audio and visual processing.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python Java or C.
- Understand and deploy Internet of Things (IOT) devices communication protocols (I2C SPI and USB) embedded systems and environment sensors.
- Propose and develop machine learning algorithms or blackbox modeling to conduct NLP and sensor data analysis.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities to troubleshoot and optimize system performance.

Eligibility:
- Candidate should fulfil the visa requirements for employment in Singapore
- must be enrolled throughout internship period or plan to pursue further studies
- For foreign students studying overseas you must be eligible for the Work Holiday Programme (WHP)
