Amazon Robotics is located in the greater Boston area the epicenter of robotics innovation. The Robotics Trade Strategy team is seeking a trade compliance operator who likes and performs well with ambiguity while solving hard large scale problems in a startup like environment. You will support operations by executing on a broad range of import and export compliance matters. You will work directly with Supply Chain teams Legal Tax and a variety of other internal business partners as well as external vendors to drive trade compliance requirements across the supply chain.
Key job responsibilities
Execute import/export processes and drive trade compliance solutions that maximize import/export efficiency
Provide subject matter expertise to manage compliance workflow mechanisms
Educate internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance on our projects and processes
Perform project management to enable delivery of team assignments and objectives
Develop document and maintain operational processes and procedures
Proactively identify and drive automation simplification and process improvement initiatives
Leverage data to continuously improve compliance at Amazon Robotics
Generate and contribute to performance requirements timelines and metrics for all related activities
3 years of program or project management experience
3 years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
Experience working cross functionally with tech and nontech teams
3 years of driving end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership experience
3 years of driving process improvements experience
Experience in stakeholder management dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
Experience building processes project management and schedules
