Job Description
Amazon is seeking a Sr. Finance Analyst to be a key business partner with Amazons Digital Video Insights Planning and Analytics team. Primary responsibilities will include partnering with finance partners globally to streamline effective communication forecasting and variance commentary across the business. Drive financial analysis prepare reports for senior management develop performance tracking metrics drive planning and budgeting discipline and deliverables and ensure financial discipline and compliance. This is a highly visible role within Digital Video and a great opportunity for candidates looking for a challenge and a place to shine.
The right individual will have exceptional financial modeling skills strong communication skills and solid business acumen. He or she will have operated successfully in a fastpaced global resultsoriented environment and possess effective verbal and written communication and logical reasoning. The successful candidate must be able to think and act both strategically and tactically and manage multiple competing priorities effectively. Ideal candidates will have a proven track record of superior financial and strategic analysis and developing/delivering recommendations based on this analysis. This person must thrive in a fastpaced environment.
This position is available in Seattle WA or Los Angeles CA.
Bachelors degree in finance accounting or related field
3 years of tax finance or a related analytical field experience
2 years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
2 years of identifying leading and executing opportunities to improve automate standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience
4 years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
MBA or CPA
Knowledge of Tableau
Experience working with largescale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL MS Access Essbase Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle SAP Lawson JD Edwards)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $60200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
