Job Description
IT Engineers in Amazons Operations teams dont have traditional office roles they take care of the various IT systems at the heart of our operational sites. As an IT Support Technician youll work at a logistics site alongside colleagues remote support teams and the business to offer a crucial IT support function. In this role youll work with the latest technology in an environment that encourages mentorship and career growth opportunities. Key job responsibilities
Support local users by installing supporting and fixing issues on the IT infrastructure enduser devices and applications
Manage tickets providing both first and secondline support
Provide proactive maintenance to maximise the availability of all IT equipment
Implement projects and deliver innovations together with other IT Service colleagues

From day one youll be involved in helping us grow our capabilities through deploying the latest technologies and helping colleagues get the most use out of their IT. About the team
Within the Ops Tech IT (OTS) team we offer constant tech support to Amazons global operations. Maintaining upgrading and protecting the IT infrastructure and enduser devices of one of the worlds largest businesses requires diverse skills. Some of the team are engineers who help implement solutions and create new ones whilst other people take management roles providing leadership to our tech support colleagues so they can better help our endusers.
Amazons OTS team work hard to balance performance and sustainability in all new solutions. Lots of our people are based on site. Our team operates around the clock making sure we can offer support or carry out important maintenance with minimal business interruption.
Relevant experience of using hardware and software including Microsoft Office or Windows in an IT role
Relevant experience working within an IT support environment or in IT asset management and purchasing
Relevant experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders including your peers and leadership
A valid driving licence
Advanced proficiency in Polish and English language verbally and in writing
A degree in Computer Science or another technical field
Experience in networking infrastructure
Experience in improving existing processes and procedures
Experience in developing clear and concise documentation
Additional European language would be an advantage
