Under the general direction of the manager of ITSM Desktop Team the Field Support Associate with some latitude for decision making will ensure locations of IT equipment are effectively maintained to service the developments community. In addition the selected candidate will liaise between NYCHA developments and IT to assist with recommendations of equipment purchases and services.
The Field Support Associate will also support devices used by the staff in central office field office and public housing development locations as well as those provided by NYCHA for use by residents in Digital Vans Community Centers or other resident-facing locations.
The responsibilities of the Field Support Associate for the IT Service Management Department will include but are not limited to the following:
-Assist with imaging configuration and support of desktop and laptop devices.
-Assist with purchasing IT goods to provide better services to the development and the community it serves.
-Advise and assist in operational and technical issues that may arise.
-Provide timely customer service to the development staff.
-Survey and recommend developments storeroom IT needs conduct training and assist with Maximo.
-Maintain records and written reports.
-Troubleshoot Maximo and Microsoft office issues.

1. High school graduation or equivalent and three years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to duties described above; or
2. Education and/or experience which is equivalent to 1 above.
