Job Description

Logistics at full potential

Have you always been handy with numbers Do you keep an overview and do you ensure that there are no errors in the reports you have checked Do you have a completed education in Controlling Accountancy Business Economics or Business Administration Then read on because we are looking for a fulltimeBusiness Controllerfor our site in Dormagen Germany!

What are your typical tasks in a role of Business Controller:

  • You are responsible for controlling of financial performance of our logistics center
  • Overseeing financial processes and preparing reports (weekly or monthly figures)
  • Preparation and monitoring of realization of the annual budget
  • Developing financial forecasts
  • Preparation of data presentations and analyses for the organization
  • Initiating developing and implementing cost optimization system
  • Identification of business risks

What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • Previous experience in financial controlling or a similar position
  • Thorough knowledge of financial analysis financial and management accounting
  • Educational background in economics or finance
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (knowledge of VBA would be an advantage)
  • Proficiency in both English and German
  • Excellent communication skills accuracy and analytical thinking
