This role consists of 70 project management and 30 account management. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing one or more of our key accounts with locations throughout the United States. The Project Manager will be the primary point of contact between the company and the client working to understand the clients needs and align the companys products or services to meet those needs. This position owns the client lifecycle from proposal to project management training and postinstallation point of contact. This is not a sales role; all new opportunities are qualified when handed over to the Project Manager.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers including national accounts.
- Work with sales strategies promotional plans and pricing strategies to increase sales and market share maximize profitability and differentiate products.
- Taking incoming proposal requests from clients building proposals (templated already) getting the proposal signed and managing the project after signature.
- Ordering equipment locating and assigning work to a national subcontractor being the main POC for the sub client and corporate contacts.
- Monitor and report on sales performance customer feedback and competitive landscape.
- Negotiate contracts and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as sales and engineering and attend industry events.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and brand consistency.
- Provide daily and weekly updates to client stakeholders.
- Act as PM for all national projects including endtoend project management including managing remote resources.
- Assist with the installation of our hardware and deployment of our services.
- Act as the point person for client training postinstallation.
- Act as POC for all national account stakeholders pre and postsale.
Qualifications :
- 25 years of project management experience for national franchise or multisite projects.
- Experience/knowledge in construction lowvoltage cabling deployments security projects (Access control and CCTV installations) and VoIP deployments.
- Proven experience in proposal management for clients.
- Processdriven with proven experience managing the entire project lifecycle.
- Ability to multitask and manage numerous concurrent priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to a nontechnical audience.
- Exceptionally well organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient with the use of CRM preferably Zoho and design software.
- Highly collaborative team player able to communicate and work effectively with crossfunctional teams.
- High level of professionalism including confidentiality courtesy fairness personal integrity and respect for others.
- Entrepreneurial selfstarter who can thrive in a fastpaced dynamic startuplike environment.
- Leadership/Mentorship experience is preferred.
- PMP certification is preferred but not necessary.
- BA/BSc degree in business engineering or a related field preferred.
