Job Summary:
This Senior Project Manager role requires 10 years of experience in managing complex projects and programs ideally using hybrid Agile/Waterfall methodologies across business and IT domains. The successful candidate will lead one of the organizations core Intentional Governance programs reporting to the Senior Director and a VP-level Program Sponsor. Responsibilities include program integration and oversight project delivery leadership stakeholder engagement and RAIDD management. The role demands strong strategic thinking communication and problem-solving skills along with proficiency in various project and program management frameworks. This is a 9-month contract position with the possibility of extension.
Location: Regina Saskatchewan Canada
Responsibilities:
- Program Integration and Oversight: Ensuring alignment of projects with program strategy maintaining the Program Charter integrating project activities and managing cross-cutting risks.
- Project Delivery Leadership: Leading planning execution monitoring and closing of assigned projects ensuring adherence to established standards and managing project controls.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Governance Reporting: Acting as liaison between project teams and the Program Steering Committee preparing governance reports and supporting stakeholder engagement.
- RAIDD Management and Decision Facilitation: Maintaining a RAIDD log managing risks and issues and facilitating decision-making.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- 10 years of progressive experience in project and program management ideally with hybrid (Agile Waterfall) delivery across business and IT domains.
- Experience operating within enterprise governance structures (steering committees program sponsors oversight bodies).
- Track record of leading complex multi-stakeholder projects with significant transformation operational or system change components.
- Prior experience with vendor or third-party management.
- Deep understanding of program management methodologies (e.g. MSP PgMP) and project management practices (e.g. PMBOK Agile hybrid).
- Familiarity with corporate governance principles portfolio management practices and enterprise-level decision-making.
- Strong grasp of the intersection between business strategy operational processes and technology delivery.
- Proficiency in RAIDD tracking tools and methodologies.
