The Senior Accountant is responsible for various accounting processes including preparing journal entries preparing reports reviewing and analyzing data and preparing financial statements. The Senior Accountant will handle many complex accounting tasks within the department and work as a team player.
Responsibilities
- Prepares monthly revenue and receivable journal entries including data entry and review.
- Performs detailed monthly reviews and account analysis of all related revenue and receivable accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Prepares monthly and quarterly reports to management.
- Makes recommendations and suggestions for improvements and efficiencies related to the preparation of monthly revenue and receivable journal entries.
- Responsible for the reconciliation analysis and problem solving for some of the more complicated processes and accounts in the department.
- Assists in the preparation of the monthly financial statements and various SEC filings.
- Assists with the accounting and reporting integration of new businesses.
- Works on special projects and handles other tasks as assigned.
- Manages policies to ensure accounting for all aspects within accounting and reporting comply with GAAP and SOX and ensure all policies are reviewed and updated.
- Adheres to internal control/compliance policy procedures and has high consciousness/awareness about the Code of Ethics.
- Completes other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting required
- 4 or more years experience in public accounting
- Experience with SEC clients preferred
- Must be a team player with the ability to analyze and assess processes.
- Strong analytical organizational problem solving and communication skills required.
- Must have the ability to facilitate teamwork and cooperation at all levels within the organization and be able to work with limited supervision.
- Excellent PC skills are needed with proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
Additional Information :
In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country the expected salary range for this position is between $49199.33 and $97726.36. Actual pay will be adjusted based on jobrelated factors permitted by law such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
