Job Summary:
Ruggable is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing team. This role reports directly to the Accounting Manager and will perform daily accounting operations and analyses. We are seeking candidates passionate about making an immediate impact in our organization. Ideal candidates are hard-working takes ownership and seeks a platform from which to grow.
What Youll Do:
- Review invoices for Wholesale customers and maintain AR reconciliation schedules for accurate and complete end of month reporting. Analyze and prepare reserve look backs to maintain proper reserve balance at quarter ends
- Support the Finance and Wholesale teams with Wholesale revenue analysis and other related operational projects
- Support the end-to-end e-commerce merchant processor payment workstream across 30 storefronts and merchants including weekly ERP data reconciliation and end of month account reconciliations. Maintain accurate and complete reconciliation schedules and strong audit documentation
- Partner with technology team to reconcile merchant processor ERP data regularly identifying bugs and issues timely and owning validation and resolution process
- Support global consolidated and local statutory audits by preparing PBCs and answering auditors questions
- Identify evaluate and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency accuracy and scalability across accounting operations
- Perform accounting research & analysis to support the financial reporting process
- Assist team with ad-hoc projects and assignments
What Youll Need to Have:
Required:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting Finance Business Administration or equivalent field
- Strong understanding of US GAAP particularly in areas such as ASC 606 revenue recognition
- Experience working with E-commerce platforms such as Shopify Paypal Afterpay Klarna. Wholesale Accounting is a plus
- 3-5 years of relevant experience Public accounting and/or CPA candidates a plus
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel including formulas and keyboard shortcuts
- Technologically savvy with strong ability to utilize technology AI and data analytics tools to quickly perform data and financial analysis for finance leaders
- Strong ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced changing environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees management and external agencies to maximize performance creativity problem solving and results
Preferred:
- Experience with major ERP systems such as Oracle SAP or NetSuite preferred in multi-entity and multi-currency environments
- Background in Wholesale
- Experience with financial statement preparation including face of the financials footnotes and supporting schedules
Compensation:
- $90000-$107000 per year base salary
- An annual bonus percentage that varies based on level of role
- Employer matching for company sponsored 401K plan
