Job Description
Under broad administrative review from the Fiscal Compliance Officer the incumbent will provide the planning development direction and oversight of all compliance education activities within the LSU Health Sciences Center New Orleans (LSUHSCNO). Informed and aware of compliance related issues incumbents primary functions will be to increase the overall awareness of compliance issues among LSUHSC NO employees independent contractors and students and to develop and implement educational programs to improve the overall knowledge of LSUHSC NO employees independent contractors and students of the requirements of federal and state law federal and state private payer health care program requirements technical and professional billing and research requirements as well as ethical and business policies of LSUHSC NO.
