Operational Excellence Lead

Were looking for an Operational Excellence Lead to join us on a permanent basis at our Bridgwater dairy. The purpose of the Operational Excellence Lead is to create and embed a culture of Operational Excellence within the site via the implementation and governance of Muller Excellence tools systems and processes to continuously improve the performance of our business across Safety Quality Cost Delivery People and Sustainability.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities for the Operational Excellence Lead:

• Drives the implementation of elements 18 of Muller Excellence with Site Lead and SLT
• Facilitates Muller Excellence support cycles and end of year assessments with the SLT and Central OpEx team
• Is the Coach Ambassador and Police of all tools systems and processes within elements 18 of Muller Excellence
• Facilitates the creation of annual Muller Excellence targets and activity plans with SLT
• Utilises Muller Excellence tools systems and processes to drive performance improvement across the balanced agenda of Safety Quality Cost Delivery People and Sustainability
• Creates the anchoring strategy for each tool system and process with elements 18 of Muller Excellence to ensure site ownership and continuation of value adding activity
• Takes an active interest in the progression of roadmaps 912 and supports key stakeholders in making progressive happen in all areas.
• Can demonstrate advanced problem solving capability in high pressured environment utilising data for decision making based on analysis
• Is part of the OpEx community forums sharing ideas best practices and critique for UK sites to improve together
• Is a subject matter expert and demonstrates effective deployment of many operational excellence based tools and philosophies including DMAIC SMED 5S standard work deployment RCA
• Can demonstrate excellent role modelling coaching and supporting of end to end performance management system
• Responsible for target setting/strategic deployment/purpose & direction of OGSM across all site functions
• Development of OpEx enabling culture
• Creates opportunities for others to actively seek out improvement opportunities within the workplace and converts to active OpEx projects
• People management including delivery of performance review development and coaching of team dealing with employee relations issues
