In this key role you will utilize your organizational skills and critical thinking to enhance our First Line of Defense and support our comprehensive Operational Risk Management framework.
Your responsibilities will include evaluating the effectiveness of controls conducting rigorous testing to support risk mitigation and collaborating across teams including originations operations and servicing to identify deficiencies and implement effective corrective actions. You will also monitor key performance indicators generate insightful reports and contribute to regulatory exams and audit inquiries. Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Risk Management Business Engineering or a related field (not mandatory).
- 2-5 years of experience in banking operations internal audit or risk management within the financial services or banking industry.
- Excellent organizational communication documentation and project management skills with the ability to operate in a fast-paced deadline-oriented work environment to meet required deliverables.
- Self-starter with the ability to challenge and influence others build trusted relationships and deal constructively with conflict.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Added Bonus:
- Strong understanding of banking regulations and control frameworks.
- Familiarity with banking or financial services products including commercial lending auto finance deposit operations and mortgage lending.
- Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Lucid Chart/Visio.
- Experience with GRC (Governance Risk & Compliance) tools (e.g. Archer LogicManager ServiceNow Riskonnect etc.).

- Participate in OP monthly team meetings and participate in team-building efforts.
- Contribute to OP technical discussions peer reviews etc.
- Contribute content and collaborate via the OP-Wiki/Knowledge Base.
- Provide status reports to OP Account Management as requested.
