This position is responsible for supervising and training staff within the Distribution Center. Responsibilities include processing inbound receipts outbound shipping returns physical inventory and direct supervision of staff in the most cost effective and efficient manner.

Primary Functions:

• Supervision and training of staff within the Distribution Center including selection evaluation and safety.
• General warehousing functions including operating a forklift shipping/receiving inventory management including physical inventories and investigate shipping errors.
• SAP Maintaining the (WM) Warehouse Management Master Data of location and material setup processing of receipts processing of customer orders inventory counts and DSP installation.

Secondary Functions:

• Traveling to other Distribution Centers as needed.
• General freight knowledge including tariffs accessorial charges and freight class.

Starting Monthly Salary: $5930 $6672 Compensation based on the skills and experience of the candidate.

Qualifications:

• An Associates Degree is required.
• One to three years of experience in shipping and receiving preferred.
• Proficient in ERP system transactions for Warehouse Management preferred.
• Applied experience in a supervision or leadership role required.
• Certified Forklift license is preferred.
• CDL drivers license is preferred.
• Experience in physical inventory control process is required.
• A basic understanding of the VELUX product line is preferred.
• Applied computer skills in MS Office is required.
• Must possess excellent communication skills both oral and written.
• Must possess excellent organizational skills.
• Must present a positive and professional appearance.
• Must possess an overall good work record and desire to work in a team environment.
• Must be capable of lifting/reaching/stooping/climbing with weights up to 50 lbs.
• Compliance with all rules of conduct safety regulations and policies provided in employee handbooks on company bulletin boards/announcements terms/conditions of employment or other means of communication is a requirement of the job.
