Description

Logistics Specialist

Lead the logistics and event planning efforts for social service operations ensuring smooth and coordination.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Logistics Specialist: $31.25 Hourly

Pay commensurate with experience.

Full time benefits include Medical Dental Vision 401K and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Logistics Specialist Responsibilities Include:

  • Assist in the planning and of social service events ensuring all logistical elements are in place for successful events.
  • Coordinate venue selection setup and breakdown ensuring that all physical space requirements are met.
  • Manage the procurement of materials and supplies needed for the resource fairs including promotional materials signage and informational resources.
  • Oversee the setup and arrangement of booths tables and other resources for service providers participating in the events.
  • Ensure that all logistical aspects of the event are running smoothly during the resource fairs including registration/intake processes attendee flow and service provider coordination.
  • Act as a point of contact for service providers and participants during events addressing inquiries and resolving issues as they arise.
  • Work closely with the Operations Coordinator and other team members to align on event objectives and logistics.
  • Help track attendance and engagement metrics to evaluate the success of each resource fair. Prepare postevent summaries that highlight key outcomes challenges faced and recommendations for future events.

Logistics Specialist Experience Education Skills Abilities requested:

  • Prior logistics Coordinating experience.
  • Develop logistics plans and resource allocation strategies.
  • Secure venues and transportation for events.
  • Collaborate with partners and stakeholders.
  • Oversee procurement and supply management.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must pass preemployment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
