ARE YOU OUR NEXT BODY WORN SOLUTIONS ENGINEER EMEA
Are you passionate about innovative Body Worn solutions and seeing them come to life with our customers Do you believe in strength in numbers and raising the confidence and skill of your colleagues Then you might be the right person to join our team! We are looking for a Body Worn expert engineer to join our Engineering Training and Portfolio strategy team in EMEA.
This role can be based in any Axis EMEA office and will report to the team Manager Markus Lai.
WHAT WILL YOU DO AS A BODY WORN SOLUTIONS ENGINEER EMEA
We are offering the chance to join our team as a dedicated technical expert within the Body Worn Solutions/Wearables domain. This role is focused on Axis Body Worn technologies and we would want you to bring previous experience from companies in the Body Worn industry.
As a Body Worn Solutions Engineer EMEA your expertise will drive the technical evolution of our Body Worn solutionsbridging cuttingedge product development with realworld customer applications. Your role is pivotal in shaping the next generation of wearable technologies not just deploying them. You will be a central point within our EMEA sales organization for Body Worn technical knowledge and support.
A key part of your role will be to actively identify and support new business opportunities from a technical perspective. Youll work closely with sales marketing and product management to ensure that customer needs are understood and met with innovative technical solutions.
Your profile should reflect a deep understanding of Body Worn technology and a strong motivation to be a subject matter expert and a source of knowledge for colleagues and customers. You will be responsible for knowledge transfer and competence building across the full chain of stakeholders.
This role supports Body Worn technology from early inception phases through launch pilot implementations and feedback to nextgeneration development. Your responsibilities will include internal and external technical support field work and collaboration across departments. You will also be involved in the project design and development phase leveraging your industry experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide market insights and trends specific to Body Worn technologies to inform product roadmaps.
- Transfer knowledge of Body Worn products technologies and market trends internally and externally.
- Understand the competitive landscape within the Body Worn segment.
- Support presales and professional services activities including field visits.
- Drive and support pilots and proof of concept implementations.
- Represent Axis at speaking engagements conferences and internal events focused on Body Worn solutions.
- Be part of the Body Worn product launch team ensuring technical success and customer readiness.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a focused and selfmotivated team player with a strong technical background and proven experience working in Body Worn solution companies. You should have a presales mindset and experience with trialing and launching Body Worn solutions into customer environments.
You will work with a wide range of stakeholders from internal R&D teams to senior customer decisionmakers. Strong organizational communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Your background includes at least 5 years of experience developing deploying or integrating Body Worn solutions in largescale environments.

Education and Experience
- Proven experience from Body Worn companies or similar wearable technology environments
- Experience with IP Networking (LAN/WAN)
- Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001 NIST Zero Trust)
- Knowledge in surveillance video and optics is a plus
- Software development or system integration experience preferred
- B.S. degree in computer science or a related field is preferred
This role involves travel for customer meetings pilots and visits to our HQ in Lund Sweden as well as other EMEA locations.
