Job Description
About the Opportunity:
Were partnering with a highly reputable main contractor that specialises in mission-critical infrastructure and is actively expanding its operations in Johor Bahru. Theyve delivered multiple Tier III & Tier IV data centre projects across the region working with international hyperscale tech clients.
As their new Senior MEP Engineer youll take the lead on HVAC and ACMV design coordination and delivery ensuring cool performance where it matters most.
Your Role:

Take charge of all HVAC/ACMV systems within the MEP scope from design review to site implementation and commissioning.

Work closely with consultants clients and subcontractors to deliver energy-efficient high-performance cooling solutions.

Ensure M&E works meet quality standards local authority compliance and mission-critical requirements.

Lead technical problem-solving on-site keeping projects on schedule and within budget.

Prepare reports oversee testing & commissioning and support integration with other building systems.

Champion a culture of safety and engineering excellence on site.
What Were Looking For:
-
Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

At least 5 years experience in MEP works

Experience in data centers hospitals cleanrooms or other mission-critical environments is a big plus!

Familiar with international standards like ASHRAE SMACNA and local codes.

Strong communicator proactive problem-solver and able to lead on-site execution.

Willing to work 6 days/week and be based full-time in Johor Bahru.
