About the role:
Reporting directly to the Member of Parliament the Constituency Assistant plays a key role in providing comprehensive casework executive and administrative support. This position is essential in supporting the Members key objectives and priorities through effective outreach communication event planning and other strategic activities.
Primary responsibilities:
As the Constituency Assistant you will manage the Members communications maintain their schedule and coordinate meetings travel and events. You will also draft correspondence provide administrative support and help manage systems for tracking requests and deadlines.
Your role will involve assisting constituents with various cases including immigration and Canada Revenue ensuring timely followups and resolutions. Additionally you will support special projects and perform other duties as needed to ensure the smooth running of the constituency office.
