Wage: $52.53 per hour; overtime rates apply after 8 hours/day at 1.5 times wage rate (as per existing collective agreement).

Location of work: Fort McMurray Alberta

Essential Responsibilities:

• Erect steel to complete structural steel structures preassemble panelization bridges and gangways
• Read blueprints drawings and specifications to correctly erect structures
• Previous experience with layout man lifts in congested areas and connecting mods is considered an asset
• Rigging and heavy lift experience: working with construction cranes derricks and other hoisting equipment
• Ensures that work is completed within deadlines
• Communicate work progress and safety performance to the sitesupervision
• Must be flexible with duties to support project requirements

Qualifications:

• Must possess a Journeyperson structural or generalist certificate from a recognized provincial training authority
• Previous experience in an industrial or live plant setting required
• Communication and team player attitude
• Must successfully complete preaccess drug and alcohol testing

Work Conditions:

• 14 days on and7 days off rotational shift working 10hour days
• Working at heights

• Camp based accommodations provided for nonlocal candidates

• Chartered Flights are NOT provided (see below)
• Travel Allowance for nonlocals is provided however candidates are responsible for arranging their own flights / transportation to and from camp
