Job Description
Position Summary:
- The Senior Manager of Supply Planning will develop and maintain supply plans for one of the business units.
- Focus on balancing cost optimization quality and service.
- Work with both internal (e.g. manufacturing plants distribution) and external (e.g. suppliers comanufacturers) stakeholders to ensure supply meets demand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop near and longterm supply plans.
- Balance inventories against KPIs like customer service and obsolescence.
- Perform root cause analysis for supply and inventory imbalances.
- Work with crossfunctional teams including Sales Demand Planning Manufacturing Customer Service Procurement and Distribution.
- Communicate supply constraints and develop plans to resolve issues.
- Lead product lifecycle management for new and endoflife products.
- Track and report supply chain performance metrics.
- Lead supply planning improvement initiatives.
Required:
- Bachelors degree in Business Operations Management or Supply Chain or 5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Experience with capacity modeling systems like JDE.
- Ability to work crossfunctionally.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Preferred:
- 5 years of food industry experience.
- Experience using JDE and Tableau or similar data analysis tools.
