Job Description
Job Summary:
Mills Auto Group is seeking skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our new KIA team in Smithfield North Carolina. This fulltime position offers a competitive hourly rate of $18 to $38 per hour and is paid semimonthly. As an Automotive Service Technician you will be responsible for diagnosing repairing and maintaining various vehicles within our dealership.

Responsibilities:
Perform vehicle inspections and diagnostic tests to identify issues
Repair and replace damaged worn or faulty parts
Regularly maintain and service vehicles including oil changes tire rotations and fluid checks
Use specialized equipment and tools to properly diagnose repair and service vehicles
Keep accurate records of repairs and services performed
Stay uptodate with new automotive technology and techniques through training and workshops
Communicate with customers to explain services answer questions and provide recommendations for future maintenance and repairs
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience as an Automotive Service Technician preferred
ASE certification and/or manufacturer training a plus
Knowledge of automotive diagnostic equipment and tools
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Possess a valid drivers license and clean driving record
Must be able to work in a fastpaced teamoriented environment
Must have basic computer skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time
