We are seeking a Sr. Technical Writer for our direct State client in Austin Texas to develop comprehensive technical product documentation for endusers of the client database. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical writing and experience in producing detailed programs and enduser documentation with appropriate visualizations including tutorials user guides troubleshooting manuals and reference manuals.

We are seeking a Sr. Technical Writer for our direct State client in Austin Texas to develop comprehensive technical product documentation for endusers of the client database. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical writing and experience in producing detailed programs and enduser documentation with appropriate visualizations including tutorials user guides troubleshooting manuals and reference manuals.
Experience Required:
- 7 years of experience in information technology and/or database systems
- Knowledge of the limitations and capabilities of computer systems and their integration with enduser business processes
- Experience with web page UI design
- Experience developing enduser documents for complex relational database applications
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral with people of all technical levels
- Ability to explain abstract concepts and terms
- Knowledge of database concepts such as referential integrity and data normalization
- Experience with Oracle databases and familiarity with Oracle objects (tables constraints triggers etc.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with client staff to develop outline format and produce detailed program and enduser documentation for client database users
- Develop documentation that meets clientside specifications and standards including producing video tutorials as requested
- Gather and document staff feedback on draft documents and incorporate userrequested changes as directed by the supervisor
- Communicate effectively and collaborate with individuals of all technical levels in a team environment
- Ensure documentation is accurate clear and accessible to users of varying technical expertise
