Job Description
The Greater Victoria School District provides public educational services to over 20000 students in the Greater Victoria Area encompassing six municipalities. To provide this service the District employs approximately 3000 staff; which includes teachers principals and viceprincipals support staff psychologists speech and language pathologists and exempt managerial staff.
The SpeechLanguage Pathologist provides a range of services: prevention identification assessment and direct intervention for students K12 with communication challenges (high/low incidence) consultation with other educators regarding students needs in the classroom and other environments inservice training and information sharing with families and other service providers.
This position supports students in acquiring communication skills central to academic achievement as well as to foster social development and independent wellbeing.
Please Note: As this position is itinerant the successful applicant must have a car and a valid BC drivers license.
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in SpeechLanguage Pathology or equivalent
- Member of the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC)
- CASLPA certification and CASLPA/BCASLPA membership preferred

Two temporary positions $74767$109812 / year:
- 1.0 FTE February 2nd to June 30th 2025 or RETURN OF THE INCUMBENT
