Title: Sales and Service Trainee

Department: Hospital Operations

Reports to: Country Manager

Based in: Mauritius

Job Purpose


To make sure Smart systems are available everywhere anytime in order to exceed Smart stakeholders expectations and so as to deliver organic and inorganic profitable growth.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • Articulate and help customers to attain most out of the Smart Services Value Proposition through engaging providers management and operational teams.
  • Ensure high system uptime through remote and onsite customer and system support.
  • Active engagement in carrying out timely Smart products installations appropriate configurations and implementation of all Smart value adds.
  • Carryout initial and refresher trainings on Smart products and Services to users of Smart Services.
  • Provide timely and complete data delivery to smart from all providers.
  • Maintain and grow healthy operational and strategic relationships with Smart stakeholders.
  • Report on competition activities in the assigned areas.
  • Channel innovations ideas that enhance Smart products product offerings and customer experience.
  • Create a database of all available healthcare service provider in the area of operation.
  • Achieve optimal resource utilization.
  • Report on initiatives happening in the assigned areas that affect Smart operations and Strategy.
  • Carryout champion initiatives for assigned solutions.


Requirements

Academic & Professional Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in an ICT related field.
  • Having worked in Customer service/support is an added advantage.
  • Good knowledge of computer systems security networks and systems administration databases and data storage systems.
Attitudes and Behavior
  • Effective communication skills both oral and written (French & English)
  • A good understanding of numbers to support analysis
  • Well and consistently groomed
  • Good time keeping
  • Bright highly self-motivated and driven.
  • Ability to solve problems quickly and completely
  • Ability to stay organized in a dynamic work environment.
  • Reliable flexible and cooperative.
  • Personable and approachable with an enthusiastic and motivational nature and an overall passion for excellence.
The trainee will have an opportunity to grow into an executive role in 12months. During the first 12months the Smart team will coach train and upskill the right person to grow into an executive role.
