This position does not require any industry experience. Prior experience in construction in landscaping or in any manual labor type position is helpful since this position does require some manual labor.
Who We Are
Were a small and growing water damage mitigation company. We handle emergency water damage situations in homes and buildings from sources such as burst pipes from freezes dishwasher leaks hot water heater leaks sewer backups and a variety of other sources. We emphasize customer service and communication at all times.
What We Do
We remove excess water if necessary such as a foot of water in a basement or soaking wet carpet. We also demolish damaged materials if necessary which includes drywall insulation carpet carpet pad and other flooring depending on the situation. We then set up dehumidifiers and air movers to dry the remaining structure (such as wood framing or subfloor).
What Were Looking For
Were looking for someone with a good attitude and good work ethic. No experience is necessary; we will teach you what you need to know with onthejob training. We will also pay for training and industry certification after competence is built in the field. Ideally we want someone who wants to learn and develop their knowledge in this industry.
Work in this industry is sometimes unpredictable and so there is a potential for overtime during the busier weeks.
Starting pay is $20/hr with no experience and more pay will be provided as more skills are developed. If you already have experience you will start at a higher pay.
