Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Assistant Professor for our BCA program. This fulltime position is based in Bangalore and requires a commitment to both teaching and research. The ideal candidate will play a significant role in helping students achieve academic success and will be involved in curriculum development among other responsibilities.
Qualifications and Skills
BCA /MCA BSC /MSC
- Proven teaching experience in a similar role with exceptional ability to deliver engaging lectures (Mandatory skill)
- Demonstrated research capabilities in the field of Computer Applications with a strong publication record (Mandatory skill)
- Experience in developing and updating BCA curriculum to ensure it meets educational standards and student needs
- Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts clearly and efficiently
- Strong problemsolving abilities to assist students and contribute to the departments academic goals
- Critical thinking skills to foster an environment that encourages student innovation and inquiry
- Effective timemanagement skills to balance teaching research and administrative duties
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a teamoriented environment
Roles and Responsibilities
- Deliver highquality lectures and educational sessions to BCA students ensuring clarity and engagement
- Conduct research in relevant areas of Computer Applications and publish findings in reputable journals
- Develop and revise curriculum to reflect current industry trends and academic requirements
- Advise and mentor students on academic and career goals providing necessary support and encouragement
- Participate in departmental meetings curriculum planning and contribute to policymaking
- Collaborate with faculty on research projects and teaching methodologies to enhance student learning outcomes
- Evaluate student performance through assignments exams and projects providing constructive feedback
- Engage in professional development opportunities to stay current in the field and improve teaching practices
