Job Description
Title: HPC Service Offering Team Member Focusing on Network Floating License Support
We are seeking a dynamic team player to join multiple HPC service offering teams collaborating closely with colleagues in both North America and AsiaPacific. This role involves daily operations of Floating Application Licenses (CLS) utilizing Agile practices and opening/fulfilling tickets using ServiceNow.
Responsibilities
Manage license files and COTS license software in Linux and Windows environments for CLS
Troubleshoot and resolve incidents for HPC service offerings primarily CLS
Design deploy and update monitoring tools and scripts
Collaborate with customers to determine future needs and deploy improved hardware/software
Work with Extranet team to update/modify firewall rules for license access
Participate in monthly OnCall rotation
Qualifications
Required Skills:
Proficiency in Linux command line interface and scripting
Ability to read vendor documentation for COTS software
Windows command line interface and GUI proficiency
Desired Skills:
Linux system administration skills including cron jobs and boot scripts
Scripting in Perl and Python
Familiarity with license managers such as FlexNet RLM LMX or DSLS
