Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Video Editor to join our team at Raika Photography. As a Video Editor you will be responsible for creating highquality and captivating videos for our clients. This is a midlevel position requiring 4 to 6 years of experience in video editing. The job is located in Bangalore Urban Karnataka India and it is a fulltime employment opportunity.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience as a Video Editor with 4 to 6 years of midlevel experience
- Proficient in video editing software particularly Adobe Premiere Pro
- Strong knowledge of video editing techniques color grading special effects and motion graphics
- Solid understanding of storytelling and visual composition
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Strong communication and time management skills
- A portfolio/demo reel showcasing previous video editing work
Roles and Responsibilities
- Editing and organizing raw footage to create highquality videos
- Trimming and editing video segments to ensure smooth transitions and visual coherence
- Applying special effects graphics and animations to enhance the video quality
- Collaborating with the creative team to conceptualize and execute video projects
- Selecting and combining the most effective shots and sequences for the final video
- Ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and maintaining a consistent visual style
- Continuously discovering and implementing new editing techniques and industry trends
- Coordinating with clients and understanding their requirements and vision
- Delivering videos within the agreedupon timeline
- Maintaining an organized library of video assets and archives
