The Administrative Coordinator manages daytoday academic support activities as well as provides administrative coordination for the Center for Student Happiness (CSH) procedures scheduling and core systems. This position will cosupervise key support personnel such as academic coaches and assistants and provide program communications and logistics support to CSH.

Essential duties:

  • Provide administrative support for CSH operations including onboarding training academic support initiatives and related communications.
  • Oversee daily office operations including scheduling for coaching personnel and clientele (students faculty staff) and managing academic support systems (e.g. appointment scheduler email Advise alerts).
  • Supervise and support coaching personnel student workers and temporary staff including hiring training scheduling and performance evaluation.
  • Develop and facilitate workshops webinars and student engagement programs.
  • Serve as the primary CLEP Administrator and supervise and train related personnel.
  • Coordinate special programs such as NPP faculty requests (e.g. inclass presentations).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree required preferably in a writingintensive field
  • Must have superior writing skills and excellent oral communication skills
  • Prior experience with academic writing styles tutoring and related activities highly preferred
  • Experience organizing resources and creating and implementing office procedures
  • Experience with supervising and training employees
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft 365 and quickly adapt to modern technologies
