Posting Summary
Reporting to the Associate Director for Residential Education oversee and lead two to four residentially based Learning Communities (LCs) that house between 1300 to 1900 students (roughly one third of the oncampus population). Provide training supervision development and evaluation of two to three frontline fulltime professional staff members (including Area Coordinators and/or Residence Directors) and a Graduate Coordinator. As a member of the Residential Education Leadership Team oversee the administrative and management functions of the Campus Area as well as assisting in the development of policies and procedures for the department. Support the Area Coordinators and Residence Directors to establish Learning Communities that foster community and civic engagement enhance learning advance diversity and inclusion and promote student health engagement and success. This is a required liveon position.
Desirable Qualifications
Previous experience in residential life and/or learning communities desirable.
