Job Description
New Hope Veterinary Hospital is hiring a fulltime Veterinary Receptionist tobe our veterinary clients first point of contact playing a crucial role in setting the tone for their visit. We are looking for a customer service professional who excels in a fastpaced environment communicates clearly and is passionate about animal care.

Salary: $16.00 $18.00 per hour determined by the candidates skills experience and qualifications.
Schedule: Enjoy a 4day work week with a balanced schedule! Shifts are typically:
- Monday: 7:30 AM 7:00 PM
- Tuesday Friday: 7:30 AM 5:30 PM
- Saturday: 7:30 AM 12:00 PM (on a rotating basis)
Team members receive one full day off during the week and an additional half day off if scheduled for work on Saturday. This structure allows for a great worklife balance while still providing excellent patient care!
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and their pets complete the appointment signin process confirm appointment details and escort clients to exam rooms.
- Ensure accurate service and product sales accounting handle payments process credit/debit cards and schedule future appointments.
- Answer client calls for appointments hospital inquiries medication refills and other requests. Make outbound calls for appointment reminders and followups.
- Understand common vaccination protocols basic lab tests common diseases veterinary terminology and pet behavior.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization to ensure a positive client experience.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a veterinary receptionist is required.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to maintain a calm professional and positive demeanor
