Job Description
Responsibilities
Northside Hospital is seeking a patientcentric Ophthalmologist specializing in Glaucoma management and surgery to join our dynamic and expanding ophthalmology team. The ideal candidate will provide highquality care for patients with glaucoma and other ophthalmic conditions including diagnosis medical treatment and surgical intervention. This role will collaborate with a team of multidisciplinary physicians optometrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

- Patient Care: Evaluate diagnose and treat patients with glaucoma both medically and surgically. Monitor disease progression and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Surgical Expertise: Perform advanced glaucoma surgeries including trabeculectomy tube shunt procedures MIGS (Minimally Invasive Glaucoma Surgery) and other related surgeries.
- Collaborative Care: Work closely with the ophthalmology team primary care physicians and optometrists for coordinated patient management.
- Patient Education: Provide education and counseling to patients regarding glaucoma management treatment options and preventative measures.
- Clinical Leadership: Participate in the development and of glaucoma care protocols and clinical guidelines at Northside Hospital.
- Outreach: Engage in community outreach programs to raise awareness of glaucoma and other ophthalmic diseases.

Qualifications
REQUIRED:
- Graduate from Accredited Glaucoma Fellowship
- Board Certified/Board Eligible
- Georgia License or the ability to obtain one
