The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Analyst to join a friendly team. The role will appeal to someone who is adept at managing data and building reports & presenting their findings to stakeholders. This highprofile role has exposure to senior management& external customers and is key in driving business operations and performance whilst championing the Group KPIs and management processes across the business. This is afulltime permanentrole based in Sydneys western suburbs.
About the Role
Coordinate the delivery of projects to agreed scope costs and timeframes ensuring all requirements are captured to appropriate levels and are prioritised according to project success metrics.
Delivery of contract/project reporting in accordance with deadlines and business requirements ensuring the accuracy of reporting and coordinating with a range of stakeholders.
Support the contract delivery team with ongoing configuration and maintenance of information systems including systems work orders scheduling & compliance.
Work with the Sales team to provide accurate and insightful data and improve and streamline current reporting processes.
Gather validate and document business requirements for system implementations modifications enhancements and develop & automate reports to support daytoday decision making.
Provide financial replenishment and stock optimisation modelling.
Conducting workshops/presentations for endusers as part of the delivery of reporting solutions
About You
Have the ability to multitask; problem solves and uses initiative.Possess a genuine enthusiasm for what you do and lead by example. You will be reliable well structured highly organised and have a systematic approach. You posse excellent communication skills and systems knowledge and be able to deal with competing demands in a complex multibusiness environment to ensure all objectives are met. This position will suit an ambitious and positive individual with the ability to think analytically and problem solve and have effective stakeholder management skills.
Relevant tertiary qualification CA/CPA preferred.
Minimum 35 years experience in data collection extraction management analysis and reporting including all aspects of project design and implementation.
The ability to extract information from diverse sources large and complex datasets transforming and verifying raw data into userfriendly meaningful reports.
Demonstrated experience using advanced Excel and Power Bi features and techniques.
Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills and the ability to work autonomously as well as within a team environment.
Experience in managing and prioritising multiple departmental requirements and deadlines.
Advanced Excel skills and Power BI experience.
Prior experience in the identification specification development system testing and implementation of system improvement initiatives
Remuneration will be negotiated based on experience.
