Business Operations Manager
Location: Redwood City CA (Hybrid M/W/F in office)
Position Type: Full-Time (Permanent)

Compensation
- Salary Range: $120000 $180000
- Equity: Strong equity package available

Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day operations: finance insurance vendor management people ops systems
- Own recruiting interviewing and onboarding of new hires
- Manage internal OKRs systems and cross-functional processes
- Partner with leadership to implement operational improvements
- Run internal reviews project retrospectives and feedback loops
- Oversee tools invoicing expenses and backend business workflows
Must-have qualifications
- 5 years in operations or highly cross-functional business roles
- Recent experience in a full-time role at a VC-backed tech startup
Hands-on experience in:
- Finance Ops (invoicing expensesnot accounting)
- Business Ops (insurance vendor management)
- Exec Ops (recruiting OKRs internal systems)
- Experience in early-stage startups (Seed to Series B <100 employees)
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- High responsiveness and comfort with ambiguity
- Proficient with QuickBooks and common SaaS tools
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Detail- and execution-focused
- Currently employed or actively working
Preferred qualifications
- Experience leading business ops at Seed or Series A/B startups
- Proficiency with QuickBooks
- Startup references from the past 5 years
- High standards output and alignment with fast-paced environments
