A great opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Controller working for a successful and wellestablished business in the construction sector at their site in East Yorkshire. Reporting in to the Commercial Manager this is a permanent position offering a competitive salary. The role would suit an Assistant or more junior QS/Estimator from a construction background who is looking to develop into a Commercial role with a great business.
As the Commercial Controller you will be responsible for:
- Managing contracts end to end and managing multiple projects at a given time
- Regular account development reviews to clients
- Updating project management system with revenue and costs
- Preparation of project reports
- Liaising with Managers and client
- Review pricing documents and contract reviews for projects
The ideal Commercial Controller will have some previous relevant experience from working in a similar role in the construction sector or in a QS role or from a Commercial Procurement background. Commercial/QS experience would be ideal for this role alongside Industry knowledge. You must be able to handle multiple projects and have the ability to understand drawings and building design. Strong problemsolving and financial project managementskills are also essential .
This Commercial Controller role offers an attractive salarywith excellent benefits package including 25 days holiday 8 bank holidays an annual bonus scheme of up to 12.5 pension contributions up to 10 and access to a wellbeing app with high street discounts. This is a fulltime role working Monday Thursday 8.30am 5.00pm and Friday 8.30am 4.30pm and the business is commutable from Driffield Scarborough Hull Malton Beverleyand surrounding areas.
