The University of Southern Maine invites applications for our newMarketing Campaign Specialist. *Revised* Location:InOffice Portland Maine (with occasional service in Gorham and Lewiston campuses as needed). Potential for remote work including up to one day per week after the probationary period with additional flexibility open to negotiation.
Required Qualifications:
- Associates degree or above in Marketing Information Technology Computer Science Business Administration Business Intelligence or a related field.
- At least two 2 years of work experience in a role working with a CRM; or more general marketing experience with documentation of recent trainings/certifications related to automated email marketing skill building. Certification as a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist highly preferred.
- Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or another email service provider (Experience in AMPscript SQL SMS and Journey Builder is a plus).
- Excels at learning and mastering new technology and software and working within processes.
- Experience working with vendors and POs is a plus.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- You excel at understanding complex segmentation needs and dynamic content design and are organized with a strong attention to and eye for the details with thorough testing.
- You can work towards a calendar and deadlines always staying one step ahead.
- You would enjoy working with budget processes and tracking costs and spending.
- You enjoy working within systems and improving processes and enjoy implementing new ideas and mastering new tools meanwhile you are patient and can work with tools and processes that you cannot change.
- You are agile with the ability to balance multiple tasks at the same time and can make decisions in a fastpaced environment with evolving priorities working across multiple deadlines.
- You are a problem solver with an ability to learn onthego and be selftaught ask questions and retain information take initiative and work autonomously while working in a strong team environment.
- You are a good communicator in a teamwork situation as our task management system will be key to the teams collaborations.
- You enjoy working with stakeholders and partners and being able to take and give constructive feedback related to collaborations.
