Job Description
Were a small focused SaaS startup backed by experienced founders and mentors. Our product is live our users are growing and now we need someone to take ownership of everything marketing from content to growth SEO to social and landing page testing to AI-powered campaign automation.
This is a rare generalist role where youll do real full-stack marketing is a freelance contractor role open globally. Youll work directly with the founder and team to own marketing end-to-end from strategy to hands-on execution.
Type: Freelance / Independent Contractor
Location: Remote Global
Time Commitment: Part-time or Full-time (Flexible hours 2030 hrs/week to start)
Team Size: 3-person early-stage SaaS team
Tasks
What Youll Own
This is a broad and self-directed role. Youll lead:
Content Marketing & SEO
- Research and write long-form blog posts case studies landing pages
- Optimize on-page SEO and distribution
- Use AI tools (ChatGPT Jasper Surfer) to ideate draft and repurpose content
Social Media Marketing
- Manage and grow our social presence (Twitter/X LinkedIn TikTok etc.)
- Create content calendars reels/snippets and use tools like Opus Clip Canva AI
Growth & Email Campaigns
- Run lightweight growth experiments to drive signups
- Set up email automations newsletters and CRM workflows
- Track and optimize content and channel performance
Marketing Ops & Site Updates
- Maintain and update website content via Webflow/WordPress/Notion
- Coordinate analytics link tracking and basic Zapier automations
Requirements
What Were Looking For
- 25 years experience in startup or SaaS marketing
- Solid knowledge of content growth SEO and social
- Prior experience using AI tools to speed up or enhance marketing
- Comfortable working independently and wearing multiple hats
- Familiar with tools like Webflow HubSpot Notion Ahrefs or similar
- Excellent written English and communication skills

Legal & Contractual Details
- This is a freelance contractor position
- You must be legally able to invoice from your country (well pay monthly via Wise Deel or Payoneer)
- You are responsible for your own local taxes and filings
- Contract will include IP ownership confidentiality and GDPR-safe data terms
