Type: Full-time Independent Contractor
Reports to: CEO
Location: Remote Must be based in the UK EU or Philippines
Start Date: 11th Aug 2025

Were Link My Books a fast-growing SaaS platform helping ecommerce sellers and accountants automate their bookkeeping. Our software saves customers hours each month prevents costly VAT mistakes and gives them full visibility over their numbers.
Now were looking for a sharp AI-savvy Marketing & Automation Assistant to join our team. If youre the kind of person who loves turning rough ideas into slick repeatable systems and youre best friends with tools like ChatGPT Notion and Zapier we want to hear from you.
Tasks
The Role
This is not a passive assistant role. Its a self-starter build-things figure-it-out role.
Well hand you a project and youll run with it using AI tools automation platforms and a healthy dose of initiative.
Youll work closely with the CEO and our growth team turning chaos into clarity and ideas into execution.
Example Projects
- YouTube Mentions Sales: Discover and document all YouTube videos that mention Link My Books then build a process to engage creators and drive traffic or affiliate partnerships.
- App Store Optimisation: Monitor listing performance A/B test copy suggest improvements using GPT analysis and competitor benchmarks.
- Lifecycle Emails: Use AI to review and improve onboarding emails identifying weak spots and suggesting copy tweaks or flow changes.
- Automations: Build time-saving automations in Zapier or Make to reduce repetitive tasks across marketing and support.
Requirements
You Might Be a Fit If...
- You love figuring things out and building repeatable systems.
- Youre highly comfortable using ChatGPT Notion Zapier Google Sheets and similar tools.
- You understand the basics of SaaS marketing especially around content email SEO or customer journeys.
- Youre a clear communicator and can document what youve done so others can follow it.
- You prefer asynchronous remote work and dont need hand-holding.
Requirements
- 13 years of experience in a marketing operations or virtual assistant role (agency SaaS or ecommerce preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to use AI tools to speed up and improve your work
- Experience building simple automations in tools like Zapier or Make
- Strong written English and attention to detail
- Curious resourceful and self-driven
- Must be based in the UK EU or Philippines
