As a Technical Sales Engineer you will be responsible for promoting and selling our engineering products and services by leveraging your technical knowledge to clearly communicate the value of our solutions to customers. Youll build strong relationships with clients technical leads acting as the crucial link between our technical teams and the customers. Youll work across diverse market domains generating insights that drive growth inspire innovation and contribute to product development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales of engineering products and services to both new and existing clients.
- Leverage an existing network of industry contacts to generate new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain substantial relationships with clients technical teams providing expert advice and support on the companys offerings.
- Collaborate closely with the Account Management team to align sales strategies and maximize company resources.
- Act as a bridge between technical departments and the Account Management team ensuring smooth communication and collaboration.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Business or a related technical field.
- 3 years of experience in technical sales preferably within the engineering or technology sectors.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to nontechnical audiences.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and managing key client relationships.
- Ability to identify customer needs and translate them into tailored solutions.
- Excellent communication negotiation and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel to meet clients and attend industry events as needed.
